Project Linus

The mission of Project Linus is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.”  Through the ministry of the Women of Grace chapter of the Daughters of the King, Grace Episcopal Church of New Market is a drop-off site for these blankets.  There are several ways you can participate in this loving ministry:

  • Drop off a hand-made, child-friendly blanket in the white basket in the Grace Church entryway.

Sundays: 8am-12pm

Tuesday thru Thursday: 9am-12pm

(Specs for making blankets: https://www.projectlinusfrederickmd.org/blanket-specsguidelines.html)

  • Make a monetary donation to the Frederick County Chapter of Project Linus by mailing checks to:  Project Linus, PO Box 1548, Belton, MO 64012-1108 (Make checks payable to Project Linus and specify FREDERICK CO, MD on the memo line of the check)

  • Make GIFT CARD donations for the purchase of blanket materials and office supplies.  Please mail gift cards directly to the Frederick County chapter coordinator: Lisa K., 4602 Granite Drive, Middletown, MD 21769
