Roadside Prayer Cross

Our presiding bishop The Most Rev. Michael Curry says it best, “Live by the practice of love for your neighbor.”  That is the intent behind our Roadside Prayer Cross.   Grace Church is honored to hold our neighbors up in prayer. We already do so without specific requests.  We also recognize the value in offering an opportunity for passers-by to make specific prayer requests.  In response to this recognition, we have placed a large cross by the roadside for prayer requests to be tied upon.  Beside the cross, you will find a bench, some ribbon, and a pen.  You are invited to find respite on the bench and, if you feel called to do so, write your prayer on a ribbon and tie it to the cross.  It is our pleasure to lift your prayers to God.

Let us pray for you.

If you would like us to pray for you and will not be able to tie it to the cross, click the link above to email us your prayer request.  We will be delighted to add you to our prayers.

***IF YOU HAVE A PASTORAL EMERGENCY AND WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK WITH THE PRIEST, PLEASE CONTACT US BY EMAIL AT gracechurchrector@comcast.net, OR BY TELEPHONE AT 301-865-3270.***
